The Middlesex Relay

Paul Revere was the first link in a chain of riders that fanned out across Middlesex County and spread into Essex, Norfolk, and Suffolk counties.

Riders like William Prescott, Martin Herrick, Nathan Munroe, Benjamin Tidd, and countless others spread across the Bay State to warn the citizens.

Kind of sounds like a relay race.

It would need almost 40 runners and cover over 200 miles. But it could be done.
